This project involved Marnhull Green Team members surveying all accessible 1`km squares within the parish boundaries.
The aim was to identify and document areas of importance for biodiversity. It was a significant project undertaken with great care for our local environment. All notable trees within the parish were noted, along with descriptions of hedges and field boundaries.

We organise various sharing sessions at the Hub in the Village Hall Saturday mornings, 10-12

We can arrange for the purchase of saplings and whips in quantity if you have a planting project on hand

Surplus apples...? Green TEAMS members have a press and can produce juice for you

Visits to organic farms and nurseries; morning chorus and bat walks; expert speakers at Green TEAMS events...
Visits, walks and talks
We organise visits to places of environmental interest. During 2026 we will visit the Countryside Restoration Trust at Beer Marsh Farm. We will also visit the reed beds between Marnhull and Hinton St Mary to look at the way waste is treated. Highlights during 2025 included visits to local ponds, Whiteway Lane Quarry and the DCC recycling centre.
